Founded in 1972, Everlight Chemical is focused on research and development for production of the high-value tech chemicals. From dye company transforms into a high-tech chemical enterprise, specializing in color chemicals, light stabilizers, toners, electronic chemicals, and pharmaceutical chemicals. It has 17 operation bases and 6 production bases in the world, including 5 in Taiwan and 1 in Suzhou, China, and the marketing is around 5 continents, more than 100 countries. We not only reorganized the information architecture but also employed responsive web design (RWD) to tailor a professional and international digital brand image for Everlight.
The aim was to present product assortment and establish a better corporate impression. To achieve the aim, we optimized the existing information architecture to allow users to quickly browse product categories, creating a good experience and portraying the professional image of Everlight Chemical.
We also customized an easy to use content management system (CMS) for them to manage content, including information editing and updating product information to various languages, with just a few clicks. As a result, from text information editing, updating product information to managing versions of other languages, this customized CMS got it all.
Clarity was the emphasis throughout the project to showcase the product assortment of Everlight Chemical without disorienting users, creating a smooth web browsing experience.
Research shows that over 60% of searches online now come from a mobile device. Furthermore, getting the latest updates of financial information through mobile devices is essential to those business people who travel a lot.
Therefore, to ensure a website offers an experience to any devices without creating a separate app, we employed responsive web design as our mobile solution to optimize browsing experience tailored to handheld devices, conforming to the increasing use of mobile to do searches online. Through developed a responsive web design supported website, it increased the smoothies of phone and tablet, and allowed the business people to navigate financial information during their travel with ease.
