Designer
Requirement
- Love Typography, Grid System Design, Minimal Design, and Functional Design
- Ability to craft unique user experiences for high performance websites
- Strong knowledge of Information Architecture, user interface design techniques and process. (CSS/ jQuery)
- Solid understanding of web standards and best practices
- Base knowledge of HTML & CSS. A huge plus if you can build non-functioning WordPress/ Modx/ Drupal front-end templates
- Must be annoyingly pixel-perfect (Detail Deatil Detail!).
- Well versed on the latest online trends including social media, typography, color theory, iconography, interaction
- Expert knowledge in Photoshop & Illustrator
- Ability to take directions and follow established style
- Professional & effective under pressure and within tight deadlines
- A strong portfolio to demonstrate past experiences. Portfolio must reflect a clean, fresh, user focused design style.
Plus
- Print Design and Production
- Any other type of creative interests—photography, illustration, printmaking, letterpress, print design, brand development? etc?
- Web development background
- Flash experience
- Comfortable communicating via instant message
- Good sense of humor
Developer
Responsibility
- Code primarily in PHP, JavaScript (jQuery), and Unix server side command.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Communicate closely with product producers, visual designers.
Requirement
- Familiar with JavaScript libraries is a must (jQuery).
- Experience with PHP is preferred.
- Experience with web development on Amazon EC2
- Strong command of web standards, browser compatibility, usability, accessibility, and semantic web.
- Experience with X/HTML, DOM, CSS, Object-oriented JavaScript and PHP.
- Enjoy communication between team members to find best practice.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated working attitude.
- Working knowledge of server environments
Plus
- Flash experience
- Ability to code iPhone and mobile-capable websites
- Working knowledge of RoR, Cakephp, Code Ignitor or related frameworks
- Working knowledge of Flash, Flex, ActionScripting, etc.
- Good sense of humor
